Have you ever read a book that was really great—and then you saw the movie and it didn’t even come close to measuring up? It wasn’t a very good representation of the book; it didn’t tell the story as well. The book was better.
Well, that’s what we’re talking about at LifePoint this Sunday. A lot of times people read the Bible or learn about Jesus and they think that he sounds great—but then they look at Christians and they don’t see what they read in the book. The book was better. A lot of times Jesus isn’t the one people have a problem with; it’s Christians that they don’t like.
Let’s face it: many times Christians are a poor representation of Jesus’ message. Somehow the message of what Jesus is all about gets messed up, confused, misrepresented, and poorly told. We’re only human, after all, and we’re bound to screw it up.
This Sunday, 10:00 AM, at the Premiere Theater in Cleveland, we’ll be looking at "The Greatest Story Never Told." I’m really excited about it (enough to post a blog about it, lol) and I hope you can come check it out.
You can go to http://www.lifepointchurch.tv for more info about LifePoint as well as directions to the theater.

Great post. I think this Sunday's going to be awesome. I almost said "off the hook", but I know how much James hates that...
